The history of the Bruno Maria Zimmitti Jewelery dates back to 1858, when the Sicilian Bruno family began business in the goldsmith field, immediately distinguishing itself for its commitment to promoting craftsmanship. The opening of the first store took place in 1930, in via del Littorio - today Corso Matteotti - by Salvatore Bruno, Maria's father.

The latter, after a long and fruitful experience alongside her father, passed on her passion for this activity to her husband Paolo Zimmitti and together they opened a new shop, also in Syracuse, in Corso Gelone 56-61, which is still home to the jewelery shop today. With the acquisition of the majority by the Damiani 1794 family, Italian leader in the luxury sector, the historic Siracusan family of jewelers is experiencing a new era with new opportunities for growth and development with the same passion as always.
